All about Lucas

Lucas is an active, enthusiastic, affectionate, curious, adventurous, funny, adorable boy!  He is influenced greatly by his older siblings but also has a mind of his own.  He is often Daddy's shadow and enjoys helping Dad fix things.  He prefers real tools over toy ones, but will use whatever he can get his hands on.  

He still likes "little kid" things and we totally encourage this as we don't want him to grow up too fast!  Recently he asked for all the Fisher Price Little People sets that had been put away.  He said to Samuel, "Let's play Little People because I am a little person!"

100th day

We celebrated our 100th day of school wearing the t-shirts we made last year, special snacks, and some 100 themed school work.  Lucas didn't have Pre-K so he was able to enjoy some 100 things as well.

Finally Snow!

We finally had a nice snow... it was too fluffy for snowballs, but was perfect for snow angels and for eating with a spoon!  The kids could hardly wait to finish school so they could go out and play!  

They were delighted to find a sandbox full of ice!

Donuts with Dad

Lucas couldn't wait for Donuts with Dad day at his Pre-K.  Daddy took him to school and they had donuts together and did a craft.

(almost) Five-year-old pictures

This year I had to fudge a little on Lucas's pictures.  The rainy weather wasn't cooperating with a photo shoot, and we found ourselves in a frenzy of busyness.  I asked if he was okay with us using the picture from our Christmas shoot since he was almost five then.  He was fine with it. I tend to take pictures of him in the summer near his half birthday anyway...
