Easter

The kids enjoyed finding their Easter baskets.  It took Nathan about 35 minutes to finally find his.

Egg hunt

We had our egg hunt the day before Easter since Easter was supposed to be very rainy.  We had it at our (new) house for the first time!  It was a great place for a hunt!

Super Buddies

Samuel's teacher sent me these pictures she took of Samuel and his buddy Ty.  They wore the same shirt one day.  She called them Super Sam and Super Ty all day!

Mom's birthday

I had a wonderful birthday spending time with my family.  Unfortunately I was still recovering from pneumonia so I didn't feel the best.  Lucas came home from school with a very special card for me from his entire class.  I help in there on Tuesdays so they all know me.

We went out to eat and then had a little party at home.

Lucas lost his first TEETH!

Lucas has had two wiggly teeth for a while and the new ones were already coming in behind them so we worked on them until they finally came out-- at the same time!

Nashville

We spent part of spring break in Nashville, TN, where Dad had to go for work.  Funny that Nathan was in Memphis at the same time we were in Nashville.
We loved our hotel!

 We swam as often as we could.

When Dad was working I took the kids to the Adventure Science Center-- it was awesome!

 We went to the Opryland hotel just to show the kids.

There was a HUGE mall nearby so we spent a little time shopping.  They had a Lego store, a Disney store, and several others that were fun.

Jarakah is a really nice girl.  We are all enjoying getting to know her.

Fly Guy

For quite a while now, Lucas has loved the Fly Guy series of books.  He even has a stuffed Fly Guy.  The librarian at their school has a "giant fly guy" stuffie that Lucas has been crazy about since he first saw it.  The other day the librarian told him that he could check it out like a book.  This was something we had to do in secret because she didn't want to start something with all the other kids.  We sneaked him out in a large bag.  Lucas was THRILLED!  

 We overheard so many cute conversations between big Fly Guy and little Fly Guy.  Lucas said, "big Fly Guy thinks I'M Buzz!" (Buzz is Fly Guy's human friend in the book)

 At night little FG slept under big FG's wing in Lucas's bed.
