All about Lucas

Lucas is the one who keeps us on our toes.  He is active, imaginative, curious, an explorer, a "helper", and a helps-himself-to whatever.  He knows how to have fun and isn't afraid of much.  He is very loving and a true delight!

I love to watch him when he is in his element- experiencing something new or trying one of his ideas.

In some ways he is an old soul... he appreciates classic characters and older equipment...

 He has always been interested in tools, and finds interesting uses for them...

100th day

The kids celebrated the 100th day of school with some fun activities.  Lucas insisted we make him a 100th day shirt just like Emma and Samuel have worn the last couple of years, so we did!

 Their request for after school was the 100 snack activity we have done in the past!

Celebrating Lucas!

Lucas has liked these little figures called Moshi Monsters for a year or so. He has a few of them and a couple of books about them.  I was pleased he chose this for a theme.  His original idea was Fly Guy, which I must admit, I wasn't too excited about putting a fly on his cake.
