Jailbirds

As a pre-birthday surprise I took Brian out of town to spend a night in jail. The Old Jail Inn was the Parke County, IN jail from 1879 to 1998 but has recently been turned into a Bed & Breakfast. This was our first night away without kids since Emma was born. We loved the Inn and had fun exploring since we were the only ones staying there that night.

Brian ready to enjoy breakfast in bed!
(Note the original bunks above our bed, though the 2 inch mattresses have been replaced with 6 inch mattresses!)
Our room was a cell for longer term criminals. There were four bunks (two upper and two lower) but this cell most often held 7-8 men at one time.
