There was much excitement surrounding the kids' visit with Santa this year! Both Samuel and Emma could not wait to get to him once we were at the mall! Emma kept saying she was going to run up and give him a big hug!
This is the first year since Nathan's birth that he has NOT gone to visit Santa. He decided this year that he is "getting too old for that." We weren't too surprised- he was a good sport about it last year but we thought this might be the year he opted out. He IS nine-and-a-half after all! Nathan DOES still want to make sure that Santa knows what he wants though!
We got there at a time when there was no line. I took Samuel out of his stroller and set him down to see what he would do. He stood for a moment and just looked Santa over real well, then ran right to him and got up on his lap! Emma followed and they both had a very nice little chat with Santa.
As you can see, they were thrilled to be with him!
Later Emma said, "I have been very good so I KNOW I WILL get presents for Christmas!"
