Star Wars Day II

You may recall our special Star Wars day last summer (and Fairy Day as well).  These were one of the highlights of the kids' summer so we decided to make it a tradition.  Nathan received a second Star Wars cookbook for Christmas so he was ready to try out some new recipes for Star Wars Day II!
Our breakfast was one of the favorites for sure!
What an awesome bunch of characters!

Our cute little yoda:

A very nice Clone Trooper (who thought Grandma would think he was a REAL Clone trooper for sure!)

Princess Leia, of course

And Darth Vador (self-proclaimed "good guy" for the day)

Anakin, Jawa, a Bounty Hunter and Queen Amidala joined us for lunch and some play time!
Nathan working on lunch (he helped with most of the recipes)
Check out the feast we had for lunch!

Some play time outside:

Then a very special guest arrived...
Introducing Jira
She told the kids her story and brought special fruit called "pallies":

While Darth & Jira made dinner, the younger ones used play-doh molds to make Star Wars figures:

Luke Skywalker arrived in time for dinner!
And who was I, you ask?
Queen Amidala (a popular character today)

Dessert:

Star Wars Day would not be complete without light sabers!

And
a snack before bedtime:
