We had a wonderful time camping over fall break. We went back to McCormick's Creek (where we camped last year). The camper was great again, the weather was just about perfect, and we all enjoyed almost every minute!
We did lots of hiking... about 20 miles in three days. We hiked to a cave, to an old quarry, to a waterfall, and all around the campground. It was awesome!
We had a scare with Lucas on the little zipline... he lost his grip and fell flat on his back. It knocked the wind out of him, and took him a while to recover. He also twisted his wrist. The next day when we were talking about what happened, he said, "I was so hurt I couldn't even cry!"
Dad helped the kiddos make survival bracelets!
Nathan learned to blow bubbles while we were hiking!
Emma realized she loves to cross the creek on rocks!
