Flat Stanley has been a big deal at our house for the last several weeks. Lucas brought one home from school with an assignment to send him on a trip to another state. We had the option of requesting more Flat Stanley's, so we asked for an additional two.
Lucas was excited to color them and send them off, though he did say he missed them.
The first one to make his way back to us was the one we sent to Aunt LuAnne in Michigan! Wow! Flat Stanley really had a fun time while he was there! He went to the beach, played with Legos and helped to feed the dog!
Next, our Disney Flat Stanley returned. He had gone all the way to Florida and went to work with my friend Trish who works for Yellow Shoes Creative Group! While there, F.S. met Darth Mickey, and wanted to bring him home to Lucas!
That inspired Lucas to dress up for a picture to show Trish his Mickey collection.
In Florida, Flat Stanley made some really special friends!
He sat in a car from a ride that is no longer at Disney World- Snow White's Scary Adventure.
Baymax is so cool!
He even brought back a book about Disney World! So fun!
While Lucas waiting for his last Flat Stanley to return, he did lots of reading:
And then, the Flat Stanley that went to Grandma and Grandpa B.'s house in Wisconsin finally came home! He even brought CHEESE!
There was a photo album to pour through and even a Where's Flat Stanley book...
Lucas really enjoyed all the maps!
Each time a F.S. returned, Lucas got to take him to school and tell his friends all about the adventures...
