This year we decided to try something a little different for our fall break. We rented a cabin at Shakamak State Park. The cabin had electricity but was basically just a couple of rooms with beds and a table. We kept our food in there but only stayed in to sleep. The rest of the time we were out playing, riding bikes, enjoying the fire or hiking. The really nice thing about leaving our camper at home was that we could take all of our bikes!
Gracie went with us and spent her time taking in ALL the sights and sounds!
She loved hiking with us too!
Our cabin was right next to the playground... close enough that we could keep an eye on the kids, but far enough away that we weren't bothered by it.
Lucas rode on the road AND the grass! He did great!
