Emma auditioned for The Children's Nutcracker a couple of months ago and was cast as one of the Mother Ginger Children, along with a few other kids. This production was put on by a dance company in another city. They brought their own dancers and also involved quite a few local dancers in their performance at ISU. There were only a handful of rehearsals so this was a different experience for Emma. Also, the director kept emphasizing that this was not a recital- it was a professional ballet! It was a wonderful show!
