Today was the first day of school!
Emma began another year of Pre-K! We have never been fans of all day kindergarten and realized last year that Emma was the youngest child in her class! Now, she will be with children who are actually closer to her age, with most of them turning five in the next few months.
She is so happy to be with Mrs. Gleason again!
This year she gets to sit at a table instead of a desk!

Nathan starts 5th grade!
This was the first year we didn't have Nathan for the first day of school so we asked for a couple of pictures. He was very excited and is thrilled to be in the highest grade in the school. We can't believe he is going to be a middle schooler next year!
To celebrate the start of school Emma had two requests: Dairy Queen and a bike ride! We a DQ treat with Grandma right after school- before we even had lunch! After dinner we took a bike ride with Daddy, Samuel, and even Lucas! This was Lucas's first (and probably last for a while) bike ride. He isn't quite big enough to manage his helmet but it didn't seem to bother him too much as he fell asleep!
Emma has a trailer bike that attaches to my bike.
