18 months

The last 18 months have sure flow by with our little Lucas. It's amazing to realize that at this time last year he could only sit and was still very much a baby!  
 He is such a happy, silly, loving, curious, active kiddo who gives THE BEST hugs! 

He has been the one to really challenge us as he gets into absolutely everything and has done things that none of our other children even thought of!  He is a mover, a shaker, and a climber... a ripper-upper and a milk dribbler... his biggest accomplishment to date is breaking a flat square night light right off the metal prongs (while plugged in)...  We are always checking to see where he is and what he is doing ESPECIALLY if he is quiet!

And yet, how can we not adore that sweet face?!

The words we hear most often from Lucas these days are: Mama, Daddy, Emma, Sa'Sha (Samuel), Nay Nay (Nathan), nuh (no), yeah, Doe-Duh (Dora), Uh-Oh, muh (more),Yaya (water), Jeeza (Jesus), Baa'pa (Grandma), um, uh (up), cheese, cackca (cracker), baabaa (banana), eye, ice, side (outside), pay (play), side (outside), some, hi, bye, and eat.  We hear lots of kissy sounds too!

He loves to cuddle with his stuffed animals at bedtime, and wants to play with basically anything his siblings have.  Some favorites are stuffed seal, blue monkey, egg puzzle set, play food, books, Lego duplos, cars, dolls, and animal figures.
