Spring Break Post #5
When we told the kids we were taking them to Chicago for Spring Break, there were two main stores they wanted to visit-- the Lego store and the American Girl store. Everyone saved their money, and Miss Emma was particularly pleased with her savings... When we got to the American Girl store, she was not at all distracted by the amount of money she had... though she loved looking through the museum-like store, she had her mind set on buying a set of two little AG kittens, and she also found a small doll she wanted. She saw another small item she wanted, but decided she would rather have money to spend elsewhere.
"Emma Snow" (Emma's doll) came with us of course.
After a little shopping we headed to the AG Cafe. Emma, Emma Snow, and I had reservations for an afternoon tea.
It was amazing. Not just the yummy food that was as pleasing to the eye as to the mouth, but the pure joy I saw in my daughter's eyes...
worth.every.penny.
On each table there was a box of questions... conversation starters. Emma loved these and I enjoyed listening to her answers!
The had a special seat for her doll, as well as a little plate and cup.
One happy girl
