One of Emma's dreams came true this past weekend. She was in her first dance recital- an incredible dance adaptation of her favorite book A Little Princess!
She was one of a group of elves who represented characters in the stories Sara Crew told the other girls. Emma thought her costume and role were the best ever!
She was more nervous about the dress rehearsal (in the studio in front of a few parents) than the actual performance (on stage in front over 900 people each night).
When the time came, she skipped out onto the stage and did her dance like an old pro.
Emma's ballet teacher later commented that she "appeared totally at ease on stage."
We were SO proud!
The elves also got to go back on stage a few minutes later for a special dance with the lead fairies, little fairies, and the unicorns... But the highlight was that they danced in a circle around SARA CREW!

Oh and we can't forget the Grand Finale! It took some practice to get all those people (over 300) on the stage!
