We've had two days off school in the last week or so, one due to wind chill (-25) and one after a nice winter storm where we got about 7 inches of snow. We began celebrating our "wind chill day" the night before with popcorn movie night in the boys room...
They were under Samuel's bed... a perfect place to hang out, and to sleep...
It seemed strange for school to be cancelled with no snow on the ground, so I hung snowflakes from the ceiling in our living room to give it a snow day feel...
We built forts... Nathan worked really hard on this one!
Grew our own crystals with Borax, and had a great day hanging out together!
Then came another big snow (big for us is about 5 inches... this time I think we got 7). The snow began late the day before but accumulated quickly. We went out after dinner and let the kids stay out until after dark. We had so much fun!
