The other thing we did on fall break was go to the Covered Bridge Festival. It was supposed to rain that day so we went to Rockville, which is easier to navigate and less messy when it gets muddy. We were blessed with a rain-free day though and had a nice time.
The kids were locked away briefly in front of the Old Jail Inn, where I took Brian for his birthday four years ago. You can read about that HERE.

When we got home we had movie night and made the Old Black Witch's Bewitching blueberry pancakes! They were yummy!
This is a book from my childhood. My Mom found a copy for me at a library sale. It is a fun book, and the only one about a witch that we even own. At the end of the book you will find the best blueberry pancake recipe!
