Whoever said the youngest child is the easiest, did not know our Lucas! Well, to be fair, he has been and IS easy in some ways... From day one he has been a go-with-the-flow kind of kid, a great sleeper, a good eater, and easy going for the most part. He laughs and smiles easily, rarely gets hurt (though he has had more falls and run ins than all of our other kids combined). He is funny and we just love the insights and ideas he comes up with!
He needed new glasses when he broke his favorite pair and they were not fixable:

Lucas's nickname (between Dad & Mom) is Mr. Destructo. He has an engineering mind like his Daddy... he wants to know how everything works and is not afraid to take things apart to find out. He is rough with everything he touches. He often stretches/pushes things to the limit and then... they break.
He is a cuddle bug, and huggy boy, and quite the little lover. I get so many kisses and hugs every day from this big boy!
Emma's art assignment the other day was to draw a real life picture with a twist... She drew Lucas with a REAL chainsaw (which he would much prefer to a toy), chasing Samuel.
I've used the word "opportunist" to describe him before and it still fits to a T! He has the quickest hands... either he is constantly plotting his next move or he acts on impulse... He can walk by something and we don't realize until later that he unplugged, plugged, changed, or moved something without anyone realizing it.
If something is missing... He is the likely mover.
He never ceases to amaze us...
He loves going to the library to play with the toys and pick out books. He will sit and listen to book after book any time someone is willing to read to him.
