On July 6th we celebrated Lucas's HALF birthday. Well, we didn't really celebrate, but we did give him a couple of presents. We have done this each year sometime in the summer though not always on his half birthday. Since his birthday is so close to Christmas we don't usually get him much, and just wait until all the other kid birthdays in our family have passed. It has worked out really well this way and he was SO excited about it this year!
We went to Bogey's to play games since the older kids got free tokens for good grades on their report cards.
He thought he should have several special privileges and get to call all the shots on this special day. He wanted to take a walk with "just mom" and "no one else can come because it's my half birthday!"
Officially four-and-a-half!
