We have been waiting most of the summer for Nathan to get his braces off. A couple of times we thought we were there, only to find out he had to wait a bit longer. FINALLY... the day arrived!
Last braces picture (the night before they came off):
I have been telling him all these years that the day they came off we would celebrate by going to a candy store and letting him pick all the things he hasn't been able to have for so long. So, that is just what we did!
We found a really neat candy store about an hour away and took off right after tennis practice.

There were suckers with actual bugs in them... Samuel was not impressed...
