We began the year right with snow on the 2nd day! It was one of those rare times that the weathermen were off in our favor! They predicted 1-3 inches overnight and we woke up to 5-6 inches! It was a cold, fluffy snow that was so light and beautiful!
Lucas wanted to wear his "work goggles" outside... I didn't get a picture until he was done with them and ready to take them off.

After playing outside until our hearts were content we went inside for hot chocolate, then cotton candy flavored real snow cones... and it was the perfect time to make Shrinky Dinks!
At bedtime Emma read one of her new Christmas books to Samuel...
