We decided to have Lucas's birthday party a couple of days early since we knew we were going to be getting a big winter storm and wanted to make sure Grandma could make it to the party. We didn't actually tell him until his cake was almost finished and it was close to party time.
Daddy took him to get his birthday balloon and he knew just the one he wanted... he didn't even consider any of the other 100 or so balloons there.

He chose a birthday theme of Heat Miser and Snow Miser, which was so much fun because these are two of our absolute favorite Christmas movie characters ever! It gave us the perfect excuse to play the song, and to watch a newer version of the movie that the younger kids hadn't seen. The original is one I remember so well from my childhood and was even a favorite way back then!
I had so much fun with his cake! He LOVED it and could NOT wait to play with the guys!
He was so cute to watch... he thoroughly enjoyed being the center of attention!
I loved watching him while we were singing... what a sweet big three-year-old we have!
