Two fun things we did on one of our snow days were making a snow volcano and painting our snow creations.
For the snow volcano, we made our volcano form, inserted a plastic cup, added baking soda, dish detergent, and food coloring...
Then we added vinegar and watched her blow!
It was pretty cool.
Then I filled spray bottles with water and food coloring and turned the kids loose on all the snow...
loads of fun again... although Lucas couldn't keep himself from spraying the house so he lost his bottle after a while...
