Blessed birthday

Since my birthday was a travel day (coming home from the Creation Museum), we celebrated the next day.  Other than going to church, we spent the day at home.  Nathan & Emma decorated my cake.

I took a bike ride on my new bike (which replaced the one stolen from us last fall), and each child got a turn in the trailer... yep, even Nathan!

Then wound down watching them play tether-ball.

Creation Museum- Day 2

After an evening of swimming and a good sleep we went back to the Creation Museum.  First stop, a photo op...  Those dinosaurs were really scary! 

Then, Nathan had an appointment to ride a zip line!

 He got to a certain point and then got stuck so a worker came out to get him.  This happened to several of the younger (& lighter weight) riders.  

 One ride down, two more to go!

Nathan thought it was pretty scary (especially his first run), but LOVED it!

After Nathan's first zip line, Grandma & I took the other kids to the petting zoo nearby.

 We walked around the grounds for a bit before heading into the museum for lunch.  There were some cool bridges...

After lunch, Nathan & Grandma went through more of the museum, while the rest of us went back to the petting zoo for a camel ride!  I got to ride it three times in a row because each of them wanted to ride with ME.  This was a nice treat on my birthday!

 They all loved it!  

We looked around in the museum for a bit and then began our journey back home.  We stopped at Steak-n-shake for a yummy dinner and got home at bedtime.  It was a great trip!
