Last week we went to our church skating party. Emma, Nathan & I have gone to this before, but this was a first for Samuel, Lucas, and Dad. It was a little crazy, but lots of fun and the kiddos did really well! We like this skating place because they have these cool frames that the kids can use to steady themselves as they are learning to skate. Emma is very cautious on skates, though she does pretty well. Samuel started off a little nervous, but become comfortable quickly, and Lucas took off like he had regular shoes on... falling didn't bother him in the least.
The floor was rather slippery, but the carpeted area was easy to skate around on without any trouble.
