Last weekend Grandma and Grandpa B. came for a visit. We had a wonderful time!
In the 1/2 hour or so before they arrived, the kids were busy getting ready:
Samuel was happy to talk Grandpa's ear off!
And show them some of his creative costumes!
Grandma gave Emma much-desired knitting lessons! Emma took right to it!
Her first knitting project... she is still working on it and says it's going to be a scarf!
(Yep, I learned to knit too... someone has to help Emma when she gets stuck!)
When Grandma and Grandpa arrived, Nathan was gone on a school trip. The band and orchestra kids got to go to Holiday World. He had a great time!
The next day he enjoyed some friendly competition with Grandpa
Lucas was happy to have Grandma and Grandpa here to play with, talk to, and snuggle with.
They also got to see Samuel's face turn red and get itchy after he ate a few pieces of watermelon! It appears he is allergic!
