Emma, Samuel & I earned free tickets to Six Flags through a reading program last spring so we planned a special trip to St. Louis to visit the theme park and some additional places.
First stop, Six Flaggs!
As soon as we entered the park we saw Foghorn!
There were a few other sightings...
The Log ride was a family favorite:

We all enjoyed the Ferris Wheel
Nathan & I rode Batman; Brian & Nathan rode it too... Crazy fun!
We spent a little time at the water park but weren't too impressed. Lucas LOVED the small water slides!
The kids each picked some fun items for souvenirs. We were impressed that at such a pricey place, these items were only $5 and $6!
We had a coupon to get a bracelet and stay an hour later after the park closed. That's when Nathan & I rode Batman, and then Nathan & Brian squeezed in another three rides in record time. The other kids and I explored the shops. This was a favorite time for everyone.
We stopped to get some food after we left but Samuel was too tired to eat. Lucas ate half of his hotdog and then fell asleep. We had happily snoozing kids when we got back to the hotel.
