Lucas could hardly wait until his HALF BIRTHDAY this year! As usual, he got a gift-- this time he got to choose and decided on two Hero Factory figures and was patient to wait until later in the week when they came in the mail.
We met Grandma at Tropical Snow for Snow cones, and Lucas got one that was Coca Cola flavored!
(Later in the week Samuel helped Lucas put his guys together)
The day after, we took some new pictures of him-- in our yard, just like the other kids.
These days Lucas prefers to smile with his lips closed...
I can occasionally get him to show his teeth though!
A couple of hours after taking these, this happened:
Poor guy did a face plant when running down a hill on a walk around our neighborhood! Thankfully, he just scraped his face, elbow, and knee, but nothing too serious.
