Nathan & Emma checking out of tie-dye shirts we made (Aug. 9)

Nathan's drawing (from the cartooning class he took this summer) was on display at the Children's Summer Art Exhibit at our local art museum on Aug. 7. Nathan was out of town that day but we went to check it out and take pictures so he could see it.
The drawing Nathan chose for display:

This just shows the wall where it hung (top) with other submissions:

Emma enjoyed free cookies and the neat cars designed by various local groups and businesses:

Earlier that day Brian & I took Emma & Samuel on a 10 mile bike ride with a stop for lunch half way. This was Samuel's first time in the bike trailer (Emma wanted to ride in the child seat on the back of my bike this time).

After lunch, Samuel fell asleep...

On August 4th Emma had her last music class for this session. She really LOVED this class... singing, dancing, playing instruments, having a Bible story and a craft...
