We spent the morning at a mall in Charlottesville, VA. The highlight for the kids was a trip to BUILD-A-BEAR! They had been asking daily when we were going!

Samuel wasn't too into the whole Build-a-Bear experience... he was content to have a smaller, already stuffed and dressed bear.

After lunch at a really yummy place-- FIVE GUYS-- excellent fries and burgers, and dessert from Maggie Moo's, we headed back to our resort. Samuel was asleep in the car so we stopped at an outlook point to see this beautiful view. (That's our resort on the right side of the picture).
Until Nathan tripped and fell... he landed right in the middle of these rocks. He hit so hard that it knocked the breath right out of him. Poor guy banged up his arm but thankfully he wasn't hurt badly.

Back at the resort, we went to a tie-dying activity and all made shirts. They are still in the plastic bags (wet) and will be for another few days, so we can't show them to you, but I'm sure you WILL see them at some point! The kids really enjoyed picking the designs and colors for their own shirts.
After dinner we swam and then dried off at the playground by the pool (this quickly became something the kids expected and it was a good way to wear them out before naps or bedtime!)
