What a GRAND vacation!
We spent Day 1 in the car driving across Indiana and Kentucky. We spent the night at a hotel in Ashland, KY and did a little swimming before heading to bed. This was Emma's first night in a BIG bed so it was rather exciting for her!
In the morning we took the kids to an awesome local playground to get out a little energy before spending another full day in the car.

Emma & Samuel didn't last too long but Daddy REALLY took Nathan for a SPIN!
We picked up a couple of hitch hikers on the way...
We drove across West Virginia and into Virginia on Day 2.Upon arriving at our resort that evening, Samuel claimed this cabinet as his own! It remained a favorite spot for our whole stay.
