Vacation Day 6

We got up nice and early so Nathan could go to a swimming lesson at our resort at 8am. He got to jump off the diving board into water that was 12 feet deep! He was SO proud of himself!
After that we set out for the scenic chairlift. Emma said she wanted to ride on it but we weren't so sure she really would (she will still ONLY ride the carousel at the fair)... This chairlift would take us up to the top of one of the mountains. Sure enough, she got on without any trouble and LOVED the ride! The only thing she didn't like is that it last over an hour! We had no idea it was that long!

Someone took our picture as we were coming in at the very top

This was actually the very top (we did not climb up)

Daddy & Nathan rode next. Here's Nathan at the top.

During our adventure, Samuel hung out with whichever ones of us were not on the lift as he was too small to ride. He was really good for the whole 3 hours it took! He walked around, had a stroller ride, ate lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed playing with rocks!

On the way back we saw a deer- Yes I was this close!

That afternoon we swam at an indoor pool because it rained. We had considered going to this pool anyway, so the rain didn't really change our plans. The kids liked it. There was a baby pool that Samuel and Emma spent a lot of time in. Samuel decided this pool was pretty fun and especially loved to ride in his float, holding onto Emma's empty float (while Emma pulled them around the pool).
