Dollie & Me

As a child I sometimes spent a few days with my Aunt Julie and Uncle Kent who lived in a nearby city. During one of these stays when I was 5 years old, my Aunt made matching dress and scarf sets for me and my doll "Angela".   I don't recall if this is something that was "popular" back then or not, but I sure thought it was cool.  She took a picture of us and created a special collage of memories from this particular visit.

This fall {35+ years later} my own 5 year old daughter Emma and her doll "Emma Lee" wore the same outfits.  They have matching pajamas, dresses, and sweat suits so it was neat for Emma to see that I enjoyed the same experience when I was her age.  I guess there ARE some things that remain the same...
