One day last week I took the 3 youngest on a tour of a local firehouse with one of the Moms groups I belong to. It was really interesting and they each enjoyed different aspects of it.
The fire engines themselves were very impressive. We got to see one pull out and then back into the fire station.
Samuel sat in one!

The pole-- definitely a major highlight
Samuel really wanted to slide down too-- he thought it looked so easy!
I was glad they showed the kids what a firefighter looks like in all his gear... and explained that these are the good guys who have come to help if you are ever in a fire.
