Hints of Winter

We have learned to be thankful for whatever little hints of winter we can see where we live.  It seems that our winters are a mixture of very cold days with no precipitation and semi-cold days with precipitation (rain).  While we do appreciate the cold, we would like to see MUCH more white (snow) than we typically get.
The change from November to December brought a slight bit of winter our way in the form of a snowy hour or so one day {BIG Beautiful fluffy snowflakes} and a good frost a couple of days later.  How we hope for a WHITE WINTER!
Emma enjoying the falling snow (though you can't see the real flakes very well)

 Beautiful frosty morning
