This year we did Christmas completely different than our norm. Instead of being home for Christmas and celebrating with our WI family before or after, we were in WI for Christmas Eve and Christmas. We had a grand time! We arrived just after a snow storm that dumped 20 inches of snow there! It was pure heaven for us.
We had our Christmas with Brian's parents and siblings on Christmas Eve morning.
Poor Nathan woke up with the stomach flu so other than being in a couple of pictures, he was quarantined in a nearby room.
Thankfully he had periods of time where he felt well enough to open and enjoy his gifts... and no one else got sick.
It was mass chaos with the other 9 grand children all aged 7 and under. Lots of fun though!
That day we had some awesome playtime in the snow!
Emma finally got to make a snow angel that didn't have grass in it!
Lucas loved the shovels but wasn't so sure about walking in the deep snow. He kept saying, "I need help!"

We got to do a lot of visiting with extended family on Christmas Day. It was great to see so many people we care about but don't get a chance to see very often.
The Great Grandkids (minus three)
Thankfully Nathan was feeling fine
Sitting room only!
