After an extremely windy, stormy day yesterday we were all delighted when temperatures dropped steadily and the rain turned to snow. Our power was out all afternoon and early evening so we went out to eat just as the snow really began. The kids were beyond excited! Emma said that the snow tasted "as sweet as sugar!"
This morning they had some much anticipated playtime in the snow.
We came inside and had REAL SNOW CONES instead of the usual hot chocolate. It was a BIG hit!
