This year we decided to forego the whole "cut down your own Christmas tree" event. We love doing that, but with record high temperatures, it certainly wasn't going to be much of a wintry experience. We still ended up with a full, beautiful, real tree last Sunday! (As you'll see later, our kids DID get to visit a tree farm this season... it just wasn't to pick a tree.)
