Home schoolers get to party too!

So Emma wanted a Christmas party like other kids...  When I asked what she wanted to do for the party, she said, "Bake Cookies"!  So that's what we did (plus some other fun things).
We began by letting them do the same yummy craft I took for the kids at Samuel's school (this was right after breakfast!):

Then we made cookies!
Lucas was banned from the decorating because he could not keep the icing paint brushes out of his mouth!  After a brief fit he was okay with it though.

We did a little painting on some crafts I can't show you right now...
And made our own special Christmas decoration!
Yes we immediately hung it up and tried it out!

Then we made what has turned out to be one of my favorite holiday craft/keepsakes... I just need to add the ribbon to be able to hang them...

The party continued as I went out for a few hours and the kids had pizza/movie night with Dad and a Christmas movie.  Emma said throughout the day, "This is the best Christmas party EVER!"
