At breakfast one morning I was talking to our 3 youngest about Nathan's recent health issues. Samuel said, "I'm going to pray for him right now! Wait! How do you pray about peoples?" (His prayers are usually just thanking God for us). Emma jumped in and said, "Like this Samuel" and she led him in a (repeat after me) prayer for Nathan. Priceless.
Certainly a proud Mommy moment.
Samuel is really into super heroes right now, so much of his play has to do with "good/nice guys" and "bad/not nice guys". One day he started adding this to the end of his prayers... "and thank you for everyone in this world except bad guys that equal satan and Goliath." Emma overheard this one day and asked to pray... she said, "and thank you for everyone even bad guys." Then she explained that God even loves the bad guys.
We talked a little after that and now after thanking God for the members of our family he says, "And thank you for everyone in the whole world and please help the bad guys change nice. Amen."
